Just as London has Hyde Park, Seoul has its own Seoul Forest.

With an area of over 1.15 million sq. meters, Seoul Forest is a space built by the will of Seoul citizens, in order to have a place to relax. Not only is it a place where one can experience Seoul’s proud animal and plant life, but it is also a place where Seoul citizens’ own culture and art come together to create an unique experience.

Dongdaemun History & Cultre Park

The Dongdaemun Stadium Memorial was planned as a space for everyone who remembers Dongdaemun Stadium, and to provide the chance to relive the fading memories of the Stadium and the surrounding area. Built in 1925 by the Japanese colonial government, the Stadium was first named Gyeongseong Stadium, later renamed Seoul Stadium, and then finally renamed Dongdaemun Stadium. Until it was demolished in 2007, it was the scene of Korea’s major sports events for 83 years.

In the Dongdaemun Stadium Memorial, a diorama containing the major sports competitions and events held in the stadium, as well as life around the stadium, helps recall memories related with the no longer existing sports landmark.
